Your life is a journey. Although each person has a different journey, there are aspects of the human experience that we all share. We all have desires. We all have fears. We all have emotions that connect us to each  other. And we all ask ourselves the same question: What is my purpose? Why am I here?

As a fellow-traveler, my goal as a therapist is to come alongside you and to help you make meaning of your journey. To  help you identify and overcome the obstacles that come in between you and your desires  for the fulfilling life and relationships you desire and  deserve. Through the process of therapy, you will be provided a safe environment in   which we can  collaboratively explore your unique purpose and the challenges  facing you and the future that is waiting for you. These challenges may come in the form of  regrets about the past, anxiety about the future, or circumstances that seem  hopeless and unchangeable. No matter how desperate your situation feels, there is always hope because you are here. You are in the present and that present is a gift. This can be the moment you look back on and say "that day is when it started getting better."

My name is Christine Tcharkhoutian and I would love to help you. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology and Music and my  Master's in  Marriage and Family Therapy both from the University of Southern California. I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee working under the license of Dr. Wendy Bencosme. I am also a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). My specialties include working with adolescents, women's issues and couples. Areas of interest include eating disorders, domestic violence, depression/anxiety & dealing with loss/grief.
